With Sphera, Forbo Flooring offers a new generation of premium homogeneous PVC flooring designed for high-traffic environments, particularly in the healthcare, education, and public building sectors. Developed with a sustainability-driven approach, the range incorporates, depending on the collection, up to 43% recycled content and bio-circular materials, while being manufactured using renewable electricity. Phthalate-free and rated A+ for indoor air quality, it meets stringent health requirements, notably thanks to a non-porous surface and ISO Class 5 compliance for sensitive environments. From a technical standpoint, Sphera is based on a single-layer calendering process ensuring durability, dimensional stability, and low indentation (0.03 mm), complemented by a Smart Top treatment that simplifies maintenance and enhances resistance to stains and scratches. Divided into three coordinated collections – Element (51 references), Energetic (43 references), and Elite b+ (18 references) – the range offers a wide palette of colours and non-directional patterns, enabling design flexibility and spatial zoning. Designed to reduce visual overload and improve wayfinding, the colours also contribute to creating more inclusive environments, particularly in healthcare spaces.
