Richez Associés has transformed the Parisian headquarters of the Avril Group, the French leader in plant-based oils and proteins, into a modern and welcoming space. Located on Rue Monceau in the 8th arrondissement, this ambitious project combines a wooden extension and a complete renovation of a 1980s building, with an emphasis on space optimization and environmental performance.
The heart of the building has been redesigned around a vast atrium under a bioclimatic glass roof, bathed in light and adorned with light wood and vegetation, which encourages conviviality and interaction, as reflected in the bleachers and informal furniture. Two panoramic elevators connect the seven floors, providing a seamless connection between the different levels, from the amphitheater to the terraces. The workspaces, designed with flexibility in mind, offer flex-office spaces, isolation bubbles, meeting rooms of all sizes, and breakout areas.
These premises, both contemporary and welcoming, can accommodate up to 500 employees; the renovation and extension aim for high energy performance, validated by the Breeam Very Good certification thanks in particular to the use of wood, sustainable materials and optimized thermal solutions. The building also includes a restaurant, a cafeteria and an accessible garden which make it an attractive workplace, anchored in a sustainable and innovative approach.
