The manufacturer of panels and flooring solutions Kronospan offers, with Kronostep, a laminate flooring collection designed to meet the demands of contemporary projects. Inspired by the aesthetics of natural wood, the range combines realistic wood textures and décors, providing a practical and durable alternative to traditional parquet flooring. The planks, generally available in lengths of 1285 mm and widths of 192, 195 or 245 mm with thicknesses ranging from 8 to 10 mm, are built on a high-density fibreboard (HDF) core combined with a wear-resistant protective layer. This structure ensures excellent dimensional stability while protecting the surface against scratches, impacts and fading, even in heavily used spaces. The collection also stands out for its ease of installation thanks to the TwinClic locking system, which enables quick glue-free installation while ensuring precise plank alignment. In terms of performance, Kronostep floors achieve AC4 or AC5 abrasion ratings depending on the reference, making them suitable for intensive residential use as well as certain professional or public environments. Their textured surface faithfully reproduces the grain of wood, contributing to a natural appearance while retaining the advantages of laminate flooring: easy maintenance, durability and cost efficiency. Manufactured in Europe and certified according to environmental and health standards, the range also reflects a commitment to indoor air quality and responsible resource management.
